Following the confirmation of covid-19 in Kenya , we are all advised to strictly adhere to the following Do’s and Don’ts:

  1. Wash your hands frequently using an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water or use sanitizer

  2. Maintain social distancing of at least 1 metre (No hugging, kissing or shaking of hands) 

  3. Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth and surfaces.

  4. Practice respiratory hygiene- This means covering your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze. Then dispose off the used tissue immediately.

  5. If you have fever, cough and difficulty in breathing, seek medical care immediately

  6. Avoid crowded places such as parties, clubs, meetings etc

  7. Avoid non-essential traveling- you may import or export disease

  8. Take water frequently and let your throat remain moist
