The Nyeri National Polytechnic is a leading TVET institution in Kenya offering a wide range of technical, vocational, business, applied science and professional training programmes, including competency-based and practical skills training.

The Registrar’s Office indicates general entry requirements of KCSE Grade C- and above for Level 6, D+ or D for Level 5, D- or E for Level 4, and KCPE for Level 3. Short courses are generally open to applicants

No. Meeting the minimum requirement does not automatically guarantee admission. There is also authentication of documents.

Applicants can apply through the NNP online application portal, through KUCCPS where applicable, or by submitting a completed manual application form to the Registrar’s Office.

Yes. Applicants may download and complete the application form, make the required application fee payment and submit the completed form to the Registrar’s Office.

Yes. Where a programme and intake are available through KUCCPS, applicants can select The Nyeri National Polytechnic and their preferred programme through the KUCCPS application process.

Common documents include a duly completed application form, KCPE certificate, KCSE certificate or result slip, national ID or waiting card where applicable, primary and secondary school leaving certificates, and birth certificate.

The NNP application guidelines currently indicate a non-refundable application fee of KSh 500. Applicants should verify the current payment instructions before making payment.

Successful applicants receive an admission letter and joining instructions from the Registrar’s Office. Applicants may also access relevant joining information through the Polytechnic’s official channels.
