YOUTH UTILISING JITUME LAB
In March 2024, H.E President William Samoei Ruto officially opened the Nyeri National Polytechnic’s Jitume ICT Lab and Open, Distance and e-Learning (ODeL) Centre, marking a significant step in Kenya’s journey toward building an inclusive Digital and Creative Economy under the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).
This modern facility is a 24/7 digital workspace that has already begun to bridge the gap between education and employment. It brings together the Jitume Lab, which provides digital skills training and the Ajira Digital Program, which connects users to real online jobs.
