A message from the Registrar’s Office (Administration)
The Nyeri National Polytechnic registrar’s office has the responsibility of supporting the institution to meet its VISION of becoming a world class polytechnic for sustainable development through its MISSION of providing trainees with globally competitive education and training, research skills; and provision of consultancy services for sustainable development as guided by our MOTTO of excel in skills and technology.
We strive to admit applicants for our academic programs in various diploma, certificates, artisan and short course program on basis of first come first serve basis.
Our entry requirements are as below;

- Applied Sciences
- Business and Entrepreneurship
- Building and Civil Engineering
- Computing and Informatics
- Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- Fashion design and Beauty therapy
- Health Sciences
- Hospitality and Tourism
- Liberal Studies
- Mechanical and Automotive Engineering
We have modularized our curriculum into smaller, self-contained modules targeting specific skills and competencies that can be assessed independently.

Other functions of this office include, but are not limited to:
- Receiving trainees’ applications.
- Processing and issuing admission letters.
- Admitting new trainees and orienting them.
- Maintaining trainees’ data and records.
- Clearing trainees at the end of their courses.
- Custodian of examination certificates and issuing them.
