Dr. David K. Gachuru is the Chairperson of the Nyeri National Polytechnic Council. He holds a PhD in Business Administration (Strategic Management), a Master of Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management.
He is an experienced consultant in strategic management and corporate governance, with a strong background in institutional leadership, policy oversight, and organizational strategy.

Dr. David M. Mwangi is the Chief Principal and Secretary to the Governing Council
of the Nyeri National Polytechnic.
He holds a Master’s degree in Purchasing and
Supplies Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management.
Adv. Lucy Waruguru Mwai
Council Member
Adv. Mwai holds a degree in Law and a Diploma in Legal Education.
She is a sole legal practitioner under Lucy Mwai and Company Advocates – Nyeri, providing professional legal services with extensive experience in legal practice and advisory roles.
Dr. Joseph Suge
Council Member
Dr. Suge is a member of the Nyeri National Polytechnic Council. He holds a PhD in Leadership and a Degree in Community Development.
He contributes expertise in leadership, community engagement, and development practices, supporting strategic and operational governance of the institution.
Mrs. Jayne Cindy Kavuha
Council Member
Mrs. Kavuha is a member of the Nyeri National Polytechnic Council. She holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Development and a Bachelor of Education.
She is a consultant in management, bringing expertise in leadership, organizational development, and human resource strategies to support the institution’s governance.
Eng. John Mwenda Mutiria

Eng. Mutiria is a member of the Nyeri National Polytechnic Council. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Civil and Structural Engineering.
He works with the Ministry of Public Works, bringing expertise in civil and structural engineering to support strategic and infrastructural development within the institution.
Ms. Priscilla Mungai
Council Member
Ms. Mungai is a Council Member representing the PS, State Department for Technical Vocational Education & Training. She holds a Master’s degree in Policy Management and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
She serves as the Director of the Planning and Project Monitoring Unit at the Ministry of Education, State Department for Technical and Vocational Education and Training, contributing her expertise in policy, planning, and project management to the institution’s governance.
Mr. Eustus Kimani Mukiri
Council Member
Mr. Mukiri is a Council Member representing the PS, National Treasury and Planning. He holds a Master’s degree in Data Communication.
He serves as the Deputy Director of ICT at the National Treasury, bringing expertise in data management, digital systems, and strategic planning to support the institution’s governance.
CPA. Peter Kebiro
Council Member
Mr. Kebiro is a member of the Nyeri National Polytechnic Council. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance & IT option), CPA-K (Certified Public Accountant), and CIFA (Certified Financial Analyst).
He works as an accountant in Nyamira County, bringing expertise in finance, auditing, and strategic financial management to support the governance of the institution.
