About the Industrial Liaison Office
The Industrial Liaison Office at The Nyeri National Polytechnic serves as the vital bridge between the institution and the world of work.
The office is responsible for coordinating industrial attachments, strengthening partnerships with industry stakeholders, and ensuring trainees are well-prepared for the job market through exposure to practical, real-world experiences.
Core Functions
- Coordinating industrial attachments for students across all departments.
- Organizing monitoring and assessment visits for students on attachment.
- Establishing and managing linkages and collaborations with local and international industries.
- Facilitating guest lectures, industry visits, and mentorship programs.
- Conducting graduate tracer studies and gathering employer feedback.
- Supporting CBET implementation and work-based learning models.
- Promoting job placement and internship opportunities for graduates.

- Trainees and Alumni – The main beneficiaries of industry exposure and practical training.
- Industry Partners and Employers – Collaborators offering attachments, mentorship, and employment.
- Academic Departments – Key partners in placement and monitoring.
