The Dean of Students’ office is responsible for the welfare, discipline, and holistic development of all trainees. We serve as a bridge between trainees and the administration, ensuring that trainee voices are heard and their needs addressed in a timely and professional manner.

Trainee Governance

The Polytechnic has a Students’ Welfare Association (SWANNP) governed by fifteen elected members:

• President,

• Deputy President,

• Secretary General,

• Finance Minister,

• Academic affairs minister,

• Sports ministers (Male and Female),

• Hostels ministers (Male and Female),

• Gender and Social affairs ministers (Male and Female),

• Environment minister,

• Special needs ministers (Male and Female)

• Devout Societies minister

Elections for these positions are conducted by the IEBC every year in the month of May.

These roles offer trainees the chance to manage teams and hone their leadership skills.
