Library Services

The Nyeri National Polytechnic Library provides user-centered service, which embraces the use of new technologies as well as traditional learning materials to inform and enable the training process. Library services are key and central to enhancing the trainees and trainers experience through its resources and facilities, and this contributes to developing a skilled, innovative and employable graduate workforce. In addition, the library aims to foster good relationships with other academic libraries and information services, especially those within the TVET education sector to sufficiently meet its clientele’s information needs.

The library embraces a high-quality study environment for users, combining book collections, ICT (e-library) under one roof; delivered by professional and skilled staff. The library has continued to improve its services by investing in a Library Management System which has enabled it to automate most of its services.

It operates from 7.00am -9.00pm during the week days and on Saturday it operates from 8.00am -12.30 pm. It is usually closed on Sundays and public holidays.
